They are extrajudicial murders. We have a Coast Guard ready to interdict vessels carrying drugs. If we can find them to kill then we can find them to arrest them. These are civilians not proven to be drug runners. Even criminals are entitled to due process.

We live in the Algarve which has lots of wonderful places. We’re in Vila Real de Santo Antonio, still a pretty traditional Portuguese town. Lagos is wonderful but more touristy. We like Lisbon but like Porto more. Coimbra and Braga are beautiful. Portugal is full of amazing places.

This is one the founders got wrong. If no one is truly above the law no one should be able to nullify the decision of a judge or a jury. Being able to let criminals off the hook is an invitation to corruption.

OK, I sort of get it why GOP politicians have strung Trump around their necks like an albatross. Not really, but a little understandable. But why do these media morons feel it necessary to go down with the ship? What benefits them from selling their shriveled souls for this loser?

These are murders on the high seas. Trump may have ‘immunity’ here, but none of his minions do. And none of them have immunity from international courts, in spite of their claims. Nothing says acknowledgment of guilt like making up justification for criminality.

Among the many things this administration has done, this is the one that could break them. These are crimes against humanity and are under the jurisdiction of international courts. Trump can claim he and his minions can’t be prosecuted, these courts are beyond his reach. They are absolutely liable.

Maybe it’s just me, but isn’t it weird that we never hear anything about Trump’s chief of staff? That’s usually a pretty high profile job, but she’s completely below the radar.
