NPR reported this morning that, based on their review of the #Epstein emails released yesterday, Trump’s name appeared more than 1,000 times in the document—

Priorities.

Removing a monument honoring Black US soldiers has nothing to do with DEI. It’s erasure of history and it’s straight-up racism.

Here’s the thing about healthcare premiums about to skyrocket: they will never come back down, short of a complete overhaul of our system for universal healthcare. Which clearly won’t happen bc of all the money tied up between health and politics.

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

A reminder: The perpetrators in the Epstein files are Oligarchs, and so are the ones protecting them.

The Speaker of the House shut the chamber down for two months to block the release of the Epstein Files and the president is huddled in the Situation Room of the White House to formulate a plan to keep them from being released, and I don't know why you crazy libs think there's some kind of cover up.

So it turns out that airports in the US are deeply dependent on money from the federal govt and they basically can't exist without it. Socialism, man. It's where you least expect it, but you should expect it because private businesses don't fund shit. Taxpayers do.

The fact that people using SNAP cannot buy food that is "hot at the point of sale" is some ableist, classicist, bullshit. I just found this out (thanks @erinbiba.bsky.social), and as a disabled person I am livid.

I want you to understand what it is like to live in Chicago during this time. Every day my phone buzzes. It is a neighborhood group: four people were kidnapped at the corner drugstore. A friend a mile away sends a Slack message: she was at the scene when masked men assaulted and abducted two people on the street. A plumber working on my pipes is distraught, and I find out that two of his employees were kidnapped that morning. A week later it happens again. An email arrives. Agents with guns have chased a teacher into the school where she works. They did not have a warrant. They dragged her away, ignoring her and her colleagues’ pleas to show proof of her documentation. What it is like to have strangers with guns traumatize your kids. For a teacher to hide a three-year-old child for fear they might be killed. How their relatives will no longer leave the house. When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

They are just evil. Starve the people to create food shortages and the people will riot, then the administration can send in troops and declare martial law.

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
