Yeah, I get what you mean. Though for how cheap it is, I find it hard to criticise too heavily. I had a fantastic time with it and felt it had more skill expression than the other racing games on the console.

I think I'd enjoy Mario Kart more if it relied on skill rather than abusing the strict rubber-banding and insane catch-up mechanics.

Legends ZA just has no friction at all and they simplified an already simple single-player experience further.

Bananza is the most brainrot game I've played

Resident Evil 4 Remake DLC - Ada Wong's flat voice acting continues in this otherwise fantastic extension to the main game. A more nimble, condensed way to play the excellence that is RE4. A good challenge, too.

I took in SO much more on a second read. It was incredible...and I never usually re-read books.

I remember Gibson saying something like he *wanted* to leave people confused with the rapid pace of tech. Wanted to make us feel like folks in the book scrambling to keep up.

Fair. I was telling her how much I loved Neuromancer and how Gibson isn't afraid of readers feeling lost, almost intentionally sometimes. She said Hail Mary was more her speed and didn't like the sounds of Neuromancer at all 🤣

Old forums are such a goldmine for expertise and knowledge. They were also generally self-moderating - if you were an ass on a popular board, you could expect people would be an ass to you too.
