what I do is apply them a little under just to get the colour on, and slowly push the brush upwards so it's easier to hold control. rather than trying to apply it in one fell swoosh

i often think about if i'd be able to be a good role model to my past self. potentially just *one* person to rely on could have drastically changed the trajectory of everything i've ever experienced. someone who's already been through it all before. but all is just thought, in the end.

plus i'm an artist still! past me would drop their JAW at what i've achieved these years, even if i still feel like i'm way behind in the technical side. i have a fursuit too!! i have so many cool things, so many cool friends. i really... didn't have much back then. but that makes the "now" special.

for me, i'd say... yes! i may not have a degree, a banger paying job in game design, or ten-billion-hundred-gajillion youtube subscribers, but i have a safe place to be, and way more comfort in being able to express my emotional sides. i know i really longed for that sort of recognition in the past.
