Why? Freedom of speech shouldn’t mean freedom to lie, or in this case promote ideology without fact checking. It’s ignorant and journalism should always be better and held to a higher standard

There’s no explaining, a good junk of the population simply aren’t engaged. They repeat & believe narratives, it’s not their fault, they just believe what certain politicians tell them.

Until we distinguish freedom of speech from freedom of lying for those in power, I’m unsure what else we can do…

I’m not going to tell anyone how to do Bluesky, but I would like to encourage the following:

- Repost stuff you find interesting/entertaining - help others to find the good people to follow
- repost small creatives who you like who are trying to plug their work
