Technically FFX had infinite levels, but they were never displayed to the player and only influenced AP requirements per sphere level.

To date, three FFs have broken the lv99 cap, FFVIII was the first with a lv100 cap, and it was only after the FFXIV crossover did FFXV increase the level cap from 99 to 120.
