Polling holds too much sway over our democracy and governance. But the G&D by-election does show that Reform’s dominance is inflated by foreign/rightwing interests, irresponsible media support and Farage’s ego.
If progressives can win despite all that, then hatred really is overpriced. Hope can win.

Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.

This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.

Migrants and even their British-born children could find their rights curtailed unless they were deemed to "contribute" sufficiently. Meanwhile, the wealthiest would enjoy a generous, low-tax regime.
