"Quicksilver", oil on linen, 16 x 20". Painted from a reference photo I took of a barrel racer at the Sisters Rodeo last summer. I wasn't so interested in the calf roping and other displays of testosterone, but the women barrel racers were the bomb! Such skills in speed and agility, the ponies too!

My painting, "In the Garden" will be in the Maude Kerns Art Center's juried group show, "Seen: A Regional Figurative Exhibit". I will be at the opening reception this Friday, February 21st, from 5-7pm. The show will run thru March 21st at 1910 E. 15th Ave., Eugene. Hope to see you there.
