The rise of MAGA was fueled in part by many veterans who served in Iraq feeling their sacrifices were for naught based on a false narrative. Another slap in the face with what has now happened in Venezuela.

Imagine being so vain and insecure that you need to put your name on everything.

Haven’t seen any coverage of the fact that the cuts in the big bill go through 2034 and most don’t kick in until after November 2026. People are not going to feel the full pain of the bill until after the midterms.

He is not well. My take is that his advisors saw him not holding his own with the other G7 leaders and needed to get him out of there.

The longer people feel this way makes it harder to build/rebuild political movement/organization that will be successful in future elections.

He won running on easy issues of inflation and immigration, against a candidate who was in an a no-win situation. Put your energy in the now and tomorrow.
