It does, unfortunately. There was a famous Jewish actress in 1930s Germany who loved the Nazi party and told people Hitler actually loved the Jewish people. It's wild to even imagine.

I live in BC in a super conservative bible belt area. The nut jobs are huge fans of trump. I think their numbers have shrunk, but those that remain are being louder than ever.
