I think photographing my dolls is the hardest and most exhausting thing! Does anyone else, with any of their art, just wish they could hold it up to the Internet and say "hey, look!!" Without the fight to get it to photograph how it looks in person? 😂 Anyway here is another clawdeen #dollsky

I haven't been active on this account much, or creating very much. Like a lot of people since the 20th, I'm very scared, and it's been impossible for me to not fall into despair. Anyone who has followed me for my dolls, thank you. I'll try to share something from time to time, I'm just very tired.

Yes, it is Cleo, after about three layers of Golden high flow acrylics, in titanium white, MSC between each layer. :)

Overall I'm very happy with her and glad my girlfriend doesn't use blue sky and won't see this. 🤣 Anything I don't have right, I apologize to the fandom, I'm only half way through the first book and started before I read them. Just wanted to give my person her very own space necromancer to unbox.😅

I also used the colorshot on her veil, to not only color it but add a stiffness to keep its shape.

The beads used are stone, but I picked ones as close to bone as possible. The clothes are actually just a top and bottom from two G3 Clawdeens spray painted black with Tulip Colorshot. Which, btw, works great if you don't plan on your doll moving much.

For the rib cage I used sculpey, side note: I do not know how to sculpt so I rode the struggle bus here. All other bones used on this doll are actual bones.

Firstly I started with G3 Cleo as the base, even though I felt like G3 Spectra's face shape might have matched Harrows description better. Bare in mind when I started this doll I had not read any of these books. I'm now half way through the first one.

Update! I hate painting flowers! Not ashamed to admit it, I just can't find the motivation to finish her body. I'm contemplating an alternative, glued tiny pressed flowers? Nail art flower stickers sealed in with MSC? I dunno, I'll figure out something. 😂

Done and then immediatly sold. 🤣 That did not last long. Still standing by my newfound believe that G3 is superior to work on, it's the less distinct features on the sculpt allowing for more wiggle room in how you can paint. #monsterhigh

This dusty pink for her hair, can't wait to get this doll done. Going out of town in a couple days though, and probably won't be working on anyone for awhile.
