I ended my Intro to Computer Vision course with an object recognition competition, and though they may not have placed top of the leaderboard, some of the teams deserve honorable mention for creative names:

Exactly! Cooperative perception (enabled by cooperating devices on other vehicles and infrastructure, for example) help vehicles to "see" in distant or occluded areas, and makes it possible for safer and better-informed decision-making.
