Exclusive: US Marines carry out first known detention of civilian in Los Angeles, video shows Marines deployed to Los Angeles carried out the detention of a civilian on Friday, the U.S. military confirmed after being presented with Reuters images, in the first known detention by active-duty troops deployed there by President Donald Trump.

The first person arrested by the Marines is an Army veteran who was on his way to work at the Veterans Administration. It appears he was arrested for crossing a yellow line which the Marines did not realize was not designed to exclude federal employees from reporting to work.

It is also useful to talk to your Republican governor because they talk to the Senators and House members and they have feelings about how this would negatively affect their citizens and how many costs it would push onto them.
