Disgusted to see this beautiful landscape ruined by wind turbines.

Interesting comment on regional accents. In 1963 #PatrickWymark starred as a Grimsby trawler skipper in THE SEVENTH WAVE, but it was noted in his home town that he had to fall in with the other actors who adopted an East Anglian drawl.

A really good piece here from Danielle Turton on recreation of historical accents and why the choices of accents and features matter, especially when they're 'regional' rather than RP.

Also on EBay is #GrahamBleathman's original #Thunderbird5 artwork from the 1990's THUNDERBIRDS-THE COMIC edited by #AlanFennell. The seller is not Graham himself, but this is a rare opportunity to own this well-preserved piece of original art

2) The archive may be of interest to students of printing, including #GrahamBleathman's draft artwork and paste ups for ACTION 21, as well as print items for #DaveNightingale's other @gerryanderson.bsky.social magazines.

1) Up on EBay at the moment is the archive of the late #DaveNightingale relating to ACTION 21, the first high quality reprint of #TV21 @gerryanderson.bsky.social comic strips in the 1980's at a time when the big publishers had no time for the characters.

In the story of Humpty Dumpty it is never said that he is an egg. However, it is never said that he is NOT an egg. This means that any character in ANY story could be an egg unless explicitly stated otherwise. Keep that in mind when you read a Jack Reacher novel

How annoying that once again GUY GARVEY FROM THE VAULTS on Sky Arts repeats Kate Bush singing Rolling The Ball on REVOLVER but still manages to cut out the footage of Rover bouncing down the steps of The Village (from THE PRISONER) that was on the original broadcast.
