New preprint!
Using single-molecule and kinetic assays combined with nanopore, myself, @alex-hg.bsky.social, @oscart32.bsky.social & co showed that the SauUSI restriction enzyme from S. aureus recognizes methylated DNA and initiates a motor-driven shredding process.
