have you looked into accessing your PC from home while you're away? Something like Sunshine (the server) and Moonlight (the client) could work. it essentially just streams what your computer at home is doing, so any streaming device (like a tablet or phone) could be what you play on remotely

I feel this; I have a folder of every song from my old giant brick iPod, which was just my entire music collection in high school, and the amount of 128/192 stuff I've had to upgrade has been ... substantial

visa and mastercard deciding what games are allowed to be sold is an apocalyptic level threat to the games industry. phone calls are the highest impact way to help.

took the better part of the afternoon to finally plug my modem + media server into my uninterruptible power supply. had to add a shelf in my front closet, but now i will have internet for a bit and my server will safely shut down in case of an outage. phew
