So that’s how focused I am this evening.

Maybe it’ll be more poison bottles, or the lid to my egg cooker. Or pictures. There’s a shedload of pictures around here somewhere… Oh god, I have to attach things to walls again. Still, anything that covers this awful wallpaper is a bonus.

But, I’ve managed to squish everything important in here, and now all I have to do is empty all these boxes.

Yes, they’re mostly books. Obviously. But some are mystery boxes, which is exciting. Every day another dramatic unboxing moment. Will it be books again, or perhaps my missing cutlery…?

Anyway, hello again. I went missing for a bit there, but most of that was unexpectedly moving house. And downsizing. I’m Very Bad at downsizing. It’s like when I edit my writing, and it ends up 20% longer than when I started.

Oh no. Not only does Vinted sell books, but Temu does too! Not just those ‘not really books’ with 30 pages written by AI, but actual books that I want.

I’m starting to think Temu can read my mind. Or extrapolate exactly what I like from my past purchases, which isn’t actually that big a stretch

Blix is a blue sphynx and Spike is a pink one, and they are both much eviler than they look. They are on a golden porches coloured seat, looking upwards, Blix is being regal by crushing the cat bed beneath he repose, and Spike is peeping out from the two tier wicker basket. Her eyes are green, her face is black. His eyes are blue and his nose is black on a white muzzle.

Ah, many of the dogs biggest fans only got to meet them over the internet. His spirit’s always around, too.

Also, I now have two vaguely cat-shaped demons, if that’s any consolation… ☺️

Oh that’s lovely! I had a brief foray into bird paintings many years ago, and am promising myself to try again one day soon. Not with anything like that level of sheer joy, tho.

I absolutely adore Supernatural. If anyone had said that it had this much Angel content, sexual tension, violence, magic, angst & torture, I would have been on it sooner.

You put that beautifully. Tho I balk at ‘dreadful’. Some episodes I’m skipping over, yes, but that’s mostly just because they’re monster of the week and, well, have no Cas content. Or Jack. I’m up to series 13 again now, and skipping markedly fewer episodes.

Honestly, I don’t think any of the small strangled squeaks I make over Cas being asleep on a sofa should be shared with anyone. I have the vestiges of dignity left. Probably…

I also realise the amount of squeaking/shouting/swearing doesn’t get any less, second watch through. I *know* what’s going to happen dammit, but I still have to go “Nooooooooo…!”, “Caaa-aaassss…!”, “FFS DEAN!” and “Ohgod, Sam…” quite a lot.

I’m not obsessed, it’s just a new low impact hobby, which is a very healthy and normal thing. Yes.

I was a bit bereft after finishing all of #Supernatural, but I’ve found solace in just going straight back in.
Ok, so I’m mostly watching the #Castiel episodes this time round. I love Sam, Dean and Bobby and even Crowley too, but Cas is just a thing of beauty.

Things are ok, mostly. Still playing symptom bingo and seeing what diagnoses come up. Still full of gallstones but no flare ups since December, so that’s good. I might get an operation on my elbow and see if that fixes my cubital tunnel. But doing alright all things considered. Cats still demons 👍🏻

There are loads of butch trans women and camp trans men, and loads of people who express gender in their own individual way.

And to get a GRC, you have to demonstrate that you have lived as your chosen gender for 2 years. Which ridiculously still means conforming to gender stereotypes 🙄

I have also been trying every flavour of Go To Sleep juice, for whilst I have been sleeping a whole lot, I’d like to start doing it at nights, and being awake in the daytime.

Turns out looking at Facebook and doomscrolling Reddit do not provide a balanced overview of world events. But I do have loads of memes!

It was fun, and that pretty much covered all of December in the very lovely Whiston Hospital. I managed to total 3 MRIs, 1 CT with contrast, 3 x rays and I’m hoping I now qualify for a rewards card of some sort.

Since then, I have mostly been asleep. I think it’s safer.
