My biggest problem with post-TOS Trek is they suddenly suck at MentalHealth. In TOS if you had PTSD,Depression,Psychosis Bones would whip out the PsychoTricorder and just return your brain back to baseline. I actually assume this happens offscreen in TNG/DS9 and they just added talk therapy to it.
