And also, being able to look back at memories, no matter how small they may feel at the time, is really really nice

I do my best to take photos of my outings, and I have a digital photo frame at home to load all these photos onto as a nice reminder of both the past & the possible future with people

As you may know, I also am pretty transparent with people about 1) intentional desires for meeting up again 2) reminding my friends that I appreciate them and miss them if it’s been a bit since we’ve hung out and 3) allowing myself to feel all these things because not doing so would make it worse

Especially in the past year of me meeting so many new people irl which has subjected me to this feeling more intensely & more often, the thought of reuniting with them in the future, and also keeping in touch, keeps me going :)

I have a list at work of my future trips/PTO to look forward to also!
