Last night SUCKED a LOT for MULTIPLE reasons. But gorram it, we canned 16 jars, 2 kinds of pickles! Today's been MUCH better, minus the Golden Girls escaping and eating half my leafy greens.

That's perfect because we have an Asian market just up the road that tends to carry Thai as well as everything else but I also am growing some of the normal Thai Basil so if they don't have the holy, at least I've got something!

A red rosebud on a bush that was essentially three quarters dead because we had sadly neglected the roses this summer. But I brought them back because I really really wanted one last good bloom before winter.

It doesn't look like it, but that bowl is enormous and not even full of everything going into the pickles today. We've got cucumbers, onions, carrots, radishes. I just need to get a few more carrots in there, add in the garlic, and then get hinger and chilies prepped because I am doing some of these as my Korean style and some of these as more Mexican style. I am wearing a strap dress with lacing on the top with bluish purplish and gray and white faded stripe type patterns going down. My hair is half pulled back and very curly today. I am wearing dangling black and silver earrings a black nose string and of course my black reading glasses are propped up on my head.

Carrot for size as I don't have a banana. See, big bowl. Lots of veggies; you mostly can see onions but also some cukes, carrots, and radishes all chopped up.
