Four young Black girls were killed when racists bombed a church one Sunday morning.

It was at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. It was September 15, 1963.

The girls and guy are being very helpful running pest control in the new garden beds...
P.S. This delicious soil was pure dusty plain dirt when we moved in! We've been improving it for several years and now it's FABULOUS for growing 🥔🍠🎃🥒🫛🫘🌽!

Mr. Soggy Boggy Witch and I just spent the last couple of hours at Lowe's and Daiso to get everything needed to finish the fence for the new backyard garden. Also got paint samples cuz, hey, if we gotta redo 3/4 of the basement, might as well finally add some color! Sigh. #gardensky #HomeOwner

Nope. Always get better results with cast iron. Part of it heavily depends on technique, but it's worth it as I find the flavor to be deeper and richer.

That would be my choice, too. Looks really warm and soft.

I've been doing a lot of that lately, and I also got to spend a few hours weeding and prepping the front gardens yesterday! It's such a neat feeling.
