I'm far from a trad wife. If one bird gets it, they all get culled. I love them and myself enough not to let them suffer or me get sick - we already sanitize and act like it's 2020 all over again, so it's less likely we'd get it ourselves, and I do not understand refusing to cull.

We had something very similar! I wanted beef and barley soup tonight, but forgot to get barley, so we used chickpeas. Used white and black pepper and a rich beef stock. Added some veg. Hit the spot.

The city we lived in before buying our house had a really cool program they set up with a local bike shop where kids and teens could go learn how to fix up and build bikes out of other old bikes, and at the end they would have a working bike they knew how to fix on their own! It was $25.
