Closing his eyes for a moment, Yuri lowered his head in a nod in agreement.

Then his stoic expression changed as if remembering something important.

Quietly reaching into his wide sleeve, Yuri handed Yuffie a white jade charm adorned with restorative materia.

"This is for you."

Taking her gesture as a signal, Yuri unfolded his lean, elongated profile and rose from his crouch.

It didn't escape his notice that she had to reach up to do so and that made Yuri chuckle.

"You really are short..." He said with a low, amused laugh.

Yuri chuckled. "You also wouldn't be you if you were several inches taller."

Now he was thinking about fluffy chocobo butt cheeks.

Great. Now, he was thinking about it.

...Female Turk? Yuri searched his memory for the person that Yuffie could be talking about but only came up with vague images of a woman with short blonde hair and a suit.

He had seen her around Wutai, but hadn't paid much attention.

"I live to serve." He quipped in a quiet but serious tone, pretending to bow his head in silent reverence of the descendant of the shinobi that was Yuffie.

Yuri, however, didn't take offense. Instead, he shook his head in feigned resignation. "You really 𝘢𝘳𝘦 stubborn..." No wonder she refused to grow any taller.

// My brain *bows*

Yuri couldn't help but quietly smirk a little.

It was a 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 funny... Though, he still hadn't the faintest clue of what was going on—and why she was speaking of posteriors, but he couldn't resist the opportunity to tease her about it.

"Here, Yuffie. You can have mine." Yuri handed her a peach.

Holds his hand out, palm level with her height and facing down in a teasing gesture.

A silent nod.

"You're almost as tall as Mr. Godo. You just need a few more feet..." If only she wasn't so pig-headed, she might have reached her father's height by now.

// I know. But getting that random text saying that I suck and I should just give up, really freaked me out... Took me a moment to gather myself.

The Wutai male gave no response. Instead, slipping his hands into the elongated sleeves of his indigo robe and bending his knees, he folded his profile, lowering himself into a crouch, several inches from the ground.

Then with a small smirk, he turned his head to look at Yuffie.

"—Better?"

// Yeah, just my brain having PTSD from the drama that went on from Twitter. And my own insecurities as a Yuffie roleplayer hitting me.

"Yuffie's so stubborn, she refused to grow."

Yuri regarded her apologetically. "—Sorry, Yuffie. Would you feel better if I lost a few inches?"

// Yeah, well, I blame that status for part of the dream I had earlier lmao
