27.02.2026 23:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Looking forward to DST up here in the PNW! One more hour of light in the evening will be welcome, and the dark mornings will be over a few weeks later ...
27.02.2026 23:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, it's a wild ride and we'll see where all of this leads ... Just came across this NYT podcast episode talking about Claude Code, increasing AI capabilities and the nebulous future that lays ahead. Not a hype piece - worth a listen ...
20.02.2026 22:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Incredibly sad to see how openly and unashamedly corrupt this administration is. It's like a vending machine for politics - money in, favor out.
20.02.2026 00:04 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Modifying is so much easier than creating, at least for me (and I am not the only one ...). π
19.02.2026 23:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Well, if "calculating machines" managed to completely change our lives within a couple of decades, let's see what LLMs (which are simply auto-completion machines at their core) can do ... π
19.02.2026 23:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Also, one thing is for sure: AI is here to stay and there are enough people figuring out how to use it. And a lot of that will happen in the workplace. Privately, you can choose to ignore it; professionally, you won't be able to do so.
19.02.2026 23:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Agreed - if used blindly and without review AI-written texts are unbearable ... But that doesn't mean that it can't be a significant productivity booster. That's my whole point - don't trust AI blindly, but don't throw out the baby with the bathwater ...
19.02.2026 23:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I find myself using AI nearly daily - nothing earth-shattering, just a great tool for being more productive, learning faster. And of course there are a TON of things we need to worry about wrt AI - but just saying "shut it all down" is short-sighted (apart from impossible at this point) IMHO
19.02.2026 01:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I won't claim that I can give a complete overview of AI capabilities, but from my own personal experience: 1) comprehensive and deep web research much more efficient than any search engine; 2) producing professional texts based on your guidance; 3) coding based on human guidance.
19.02.2026 01:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Box office numbers for the "Melania" documentary. Audience profile is telling ... also, seems like there are enough MAGA women around for only one mildly successful weekend. Beyond that, no one else wants to see this disguise for a huge bribe payment. #Melania
15.02.2026 20:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0"needs to start fixing the economy" - this is not how this admin works. For them, it's all about a few hard-core right-wing ideological goals, and everything else is theater to whip up emotions and rage they can exploit financially. It's not about doing the hard work of governing.
15.02.2026 20:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Equally sad and mind-blowing that this statement is even needed these days. As a society, we had moved far beyond this, but as with so many things, the current administration is hell-bent on pulling this country WAY back and down.
15.02.2026 20:09 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0... and somewhere Nena is chuckling ... "99 Red Balloons" πΆπ΅πΆπΆπ΅
12.02.2026 01:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Agreed that this is voter suppression and just sucks. Out of curiosity, though - won't that impact both, GOP and Dems? Wouldn't the impact be rather more along socio-economic lines than party lines?
12.02.2026 01:31 β π 24 π 4 π¬ 3 π 0"terminate ALL ice hockey played in Canada"?!? π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
11.02.2026 03:43 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Everyone saying how it was a boring game - just stop. Football is more than offensive spectacle ... this was a defensive masterclass by the Seahawks and should at least be acknowledged as that. 60 yards (or so) in the 1st half by a top-tier offense, that's quite special...(yes, I'm biased, #GoHawks)
11.02.2026 03:33 β π 37 π 0 π¬ 4 π 0π― came here to say exactly that!

It's not only his intellect, passion to create, patriotism, eloquence, leadership - he seems to really like people, interacting with them, appreciating them. He can make others shine without his ego feeling threatened.
The contrast couldn't be any starker.
Getting ready for the biggest sports day in Seattle in more than a decade! #GoHawks #Seahawks
08.02.2026 17:52 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Not sure about blowout ... the Pats are a well-coached and tenacious team, they won't just roll over. But I like the Seahawks' chances ... more talent on both sides of the ball. QB pressure and running game will be critical. #GoHawks
08.02.2026 17:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks for some distraction before the big game. Getting ready here in Seattle to head downtown ... GO HAWKS!!
08.02.2026 17:26 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Phew ... says all of Seattle!! #GoHawks
05.02.2026 20:09 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0LOL - been there, done that ... Three times actually b/c three kids ... π
04.02.2026 05:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh man, the world is getting confusing! I am in favor of gun regulations and saying "no guns in our administrative nerve center" makes sense to me. But coming from a Trump appointee?? Is that what Maga & the GOP stand for? Is that really the road they want to travel??
02.02.2026 21:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1Seattle this afternoon. Thousands. Loud and peaceful. MAGA ain't America. #NoICE
01.02.2026 00:37 β π 7 π 3 π¬ 1 π 1Headline re-write: Republicans fine with unrestrained and deadly ICE rampage, but drawing the line at risking their cushy government jobs.
29.01.2026 03:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Didn't see your original comment, but this is a classy reply ... Kudos, Archie Mom!

17.01.2026 02:36 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Why are ICE are considered PATRIOTS for acting like Nazis, but the people protesting them are DOMESTIC TERRORISTS for acting like AMERICANS????
