I’ll second the shout for ‘Hidden’, also one of my favorite LPs. Personally I also rank ‘Beat Pyramid’ as my second favorite of their albums though I see why people like it less than the others.

I keep meaning to go back to the These New Puritans record, I spent a lot of time with it when it came out but haven’t listened much since; it is quite excellent.

Such a tune, and one of the most fun live shows I’ve seen. 💛

Even though he seems to has softened to it in recent years, Uncle Al probably wouldn’t like hearing that this remains my favorite Ministry album by far; a real contender for my top 5.

Not just my favorite Prince album from a catalog spoiled for choice (duh), but I don’t think society as a whole has fully appreciated how much pop music since owes to this one…for better or worse. Happy fucking birthday to one of the most Whatafuckingrecords of all Whatafuckingrecords.

I generally prefer the succinctness of ‘Into Battle with the Art of Noise’, but the LP (essentially an expansion of the mini album) is still a fascinating listen; likely won’t make my Top 5 but a worthy contender.

Appropriately named, I fell hard for the charming indie of Bishop Allen when this came out; I also had the pleasure of interviewing Justin & Christian around this time and they were delightful.
