I actually do believe it, to a degree. I’m not sure who and to what extent though. I think some is bluster. I mean, meeting someone from the White House could mean you had coffee with an intern.

That's a sweeping assumption. Rural Albertans aren't a monolith and denigrating them achieves nothing but shutting them out of conversations.

I won't weigh in on what an opposition should or shouldn't do, but the deputy leader of the NDP was at the meeting with landowners discussed in the article. All to say, I think a lot more people are starting to pay attention to some of these issues.

As we're still grappling with recent changes to municipal elections underway TODAY, the Alberta government announced changes to the NEXT elections.

They are to include a provision that "only those who truly care and are serious about representing a community or riding are allowed on the ballot."

Important movements have been built on less. Save our sovereign teeth.

Last night, @davidmoscrop.com told a crowd his work made him grind his teeth to nub/lamented the cost of mouth guards. I could only laugh, thinking about my own guard. Today, two colleagues asked about coverage for mouth guards. At least dentists are benefitting from the collapse of civilization.
