I'm still wrapping up the break-in miles, so I haven't really explored the upper end of the power band yet, but it starts pulling very strong at about 4k rpm and just gets stronger up to 6k. Can't wait to check out the power up to the 9k redline. Loving it so far!

For now, yes, the BMW R1200R is staying. After 16 years and 120k miles all over North America I can't bear to let it go, but it needs major surgery. I sold a Kawasaki Vulcan to make room for the Guzzi. (And I hesitate to mention a couple project bikes tucked in the corner too. 😔)
