I get people involved in with art here in prison and it brings people so much joy. See most people in prison didn't experience anything like that when they grew up so they didn't know they have a passion for art. What I am trying to do is offer a welcoming and inspiring space where individuals can express their creativity, grow and connect with others through the joy of art. I share all of my art supplies with anyone who has the desire to have fun. I think that it is important in a place like this to bring a little color and also get people to smile.
