For the UK and US people online, my feed is very confusing. This is the second time in a few months that Jonathan Ross has been an unsuccessful traitor.

Well it can't be a poodle because too floofy. Can't be a Labrador because bras are girly. Can't be any type of spaniel, because spas are girly. Can't be a terrier, because that sounds like terry (her), which implies terry has a female gender identity. I'm out of ideas tbh.

David Runciman Β· Are we doomed? The End of the Species
Are we doomed to die out? We find ourselves at the only point in the history of the species when the rate of population...
This is a very good piece by David Runciman, which ties together climate change and depopulation: www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v4... "Anyone who thinks the 21st century will not see the biggest global movement of peoples in history has not been paying attention" (1/2)

Why Does A.I. Write Like β¦ That?
This is not just interesting, it's also well researched. An excellent article that delves into the background of why AI writing sounds weird - like an overeager MBA who just discovered a thesaurus: www.nytimes.com/2025/12/03/m...

The image presents a line graph depicting global maternal mortality rates from 1985 to 2023. The y-axis represents the number of maternal deaths per 100,000 live births, ranging from 0 to 500, while the x-axis spans the years from 1985 to 2023.
The graph shows a downward trend in maternal mortality rates, starting at approximately 460 in 1985 and declining steadily over the years. A notable increase is observed during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, but by 2023, the rate has decreased to about 197. This marks a 57% reduction compared to the rates in 1985.
Annotations highlight key points, such as the spike during the pandemic and the significant decrease achieved by 2023.
The data sources for this graph include the WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, World Bank, and UN DESA (2025). There is a note stating that the estimates aim to adjust for underreporting and misclassification. The image is credited with a Creative Commons attribution.
Global maternal mortality rates have fallen by almost 60% since 1985

Yes and yes!
I don't use the handwriting to text feature as that doesn't work. But I can (mostly) interpret my own handwriting. It replaces paper notebooks for me. I have a separate file for each of my regular meetings (1 on 1s and team meetings), so it's much easier to find notes and next steps.

RFK Jr. says US wonβt donate to global vaccine effort
Kennedy ripped into Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, in a video address at its pledging summit.
This is a travesty & a nightmare. The US was a founder of @gavi.org. It lowers global vaccine costs, has vaccinated 1B children, & averted 19M deaths. This pull out will cost 100s of thousands of children's lives a year - and RFK Jr will be personally responsible.
