Art of Forté

Been locked in on my workouts and finally feeling like I’m back in the swing of things. I’m insanely sore but I’ve RX’d two workouts this week so feels like we are getting there.

Hey look. A semi positive post on here.

I have all this pent up creative energy. And no place to direct it.

And when I have the energy to be creative…. I should be locked in at work.

CrossFit and Yoga class yesterday. Slept very well last night.

Work overtook me today but it’s on the agenda for tomorrow.

Saw the plans for #InfoComm25 for #Forté. People will definitely know our name. Damn.

Your advice has been bouncing around my mind and is being taken to heart. I appreciate your advise. Got into CrossFit tonight for the first time in weeks. And I was exhausted but loved it and actually did really good. But Back-squats, Deadlifts and assault bike is my jam.

Well after a great Global Sales Summit with Forté it seems like I need to broaden my horizons and embrace the fact that we haven’t been just an AV company for a long time. So in that spirit. No more ArtofAV.

I think the issues are creeping in because my workload has overtaken most of the time I spent at the gym and I’ve started prioritizing work over myself….and I can’t get my work done because I’m so busy helping or getting pulled into issues that remove me from what I should be doing.

I stopped posting on here a while ago. And I feel myself coming back because I feel broken and useless. I know it’s just me being burnt out.

It’s waking up feeling like you can’t do anything correct. And you’re letting everyone down. And you have no idea how to crawl your way out of it.

Well now that I’ve turned 44 this month…..I think we are close to our Mid-Life crisis/ Existential Crisis time.

Don’t worry my weird Crisis will most likely not be anything life dying my hair or buying a flashy car.

I’m hoping it’s more like a DC crisis event where the entire world suffers.

Eventually I’m going to finish the Krakoa Run of X-Men titles and get to those issues…..but I have 40 more trades to read before I get there.

I have the issues just really behind in my reading. Adulting sucks.

About time.

Picked up the first three issues of @dccomicsreal.bsky.social Absolute Batman.
