Can we please discuss how arts and culture #nonprofits are suffering in the age of #dafs? Private family #foundations converting to #donoradvisedfunds run by money managers are killing museums. When the top nonprofits are financial mgmt companies #philanthropy is nonexistent.

It’s a quick read. But honestly I’ve not read anything like it since Handmaid’s Tale. The amazing thing is that this story of women is told without violence for violence sake.

I just finished “I Who Have Never Known Men.” It’s going to stick with me for a long time.

My friend’s rescue dachshund is afraid of me and growls when I come near her. She was rescued from a hoarder home and though she’s only 10 lbs and 3 yo has been bred multiple times. I’ve tried getting down to her level speaking quietly and waiting for her to come to me. She won’t take treats. Help!

I keep three of my earliest watercolor flowers that are so flat on the wall as I enter my studio. It reminds me how far I’ve come.

Spent yesterday in Gettysburg for Remembrance Day. The full moon over the cemetery illumination was a beautiful way to close the day.

This summer I walked through an amazing field of sunflowers. I’m trying to get those feelings back.
