I’m not in Texas (spent my first 4years there though 65 yrs ago) however after listening to him mention his Baptist preacher grandpas’ wisdom and the fact that his family is 8 generation Texans I would imagine those help him quite a bit in rural areas. I personally loved how he described his faith.
