Fam, I passed! I can now focus on the driver learning and getting to the recommended minimum of 45 hours on le road and book the practical test! Onwards and upwards! 🚗🚗🚗

Driving Theory Test tomorrow, let's hope I pass the 50 highway code questions and score well with the hazard perception! 😬

If I can pass this, I just need to carry on the driving lessons and get the practical booked for a few months time!

I can't imagine having a spectacle such as Ghost right in front of your nose, and just staring at it through a 6 inch screen instead. The moment is RIGHT THERE. Live it. So many people missed the moral and message of Rite Here Rite Now, and it shows.

I support no phones 💯. It makes the experience better for us, and for the artist, as everyone gets to FULLY engage on a human level. Maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy in my entire 38 years of life, but damn, these people who are dedicated slaves to their phone boggle me. They really do.

When you're (very belatedly at 38) learning to drive, & your overseas colleague is incredibly impressed you're learning to 'properly drive' a manual car rather than an automatic, & you explain to them that in the UK, literally most cars are manual and an automatic is considered an absolute luxury! 🤣

Well after getting precisely ZILCH mounts during #warcraft Collectors Bounty, and beginning this week with precisely zilch again...Today, Blizz seem to have swapped the apparent placebo buff out and given me the actual one!😂

My favourite thing this year has been seeing videos of mostly Americans and Australians apologising to Brits for saying we were bitching about our weather for no reason.

Now they've come here on holiday, and they are agreeing our heat hits very different in all the wrong ways. Even Floridians. 😂

I fear I am becoming a bit of a Bike connoisseur in #Warcaft, including a few of the older-school ones of course!

The UK ones can't fly I dont think though. The US ones do I believe. I personally call the flying ones fireflies, and the groundbound ones we get here, glow worms. But different regions have different ways of saying things, and that's a really cool part of etymology and language to me! 😁

Finally got my butt into gear to complete the Delve Season track, and earn the new character background in #Warcraft

Ah yes, I do remember those. Were popular when I was knee-high to a grasshopper.

Here in the UK we mostly seem to refer to them as Fireflies, but we don't actually have them here.

However, we do have Glow Worms, which do a similar thing, but they are beetles rather than flies (yes, 'worm' is a misnomer!).

I feel like I'm the only Ghost enjoyer who just cannot get into Sleep Token at all. I appreciate what they do, and good luck to them, but they're just not my cup of tea. It seems everyone I've seen who loved Ghost, are feral for Sleep Token also, and I just sadly cannot vibe with the latter. 🤷🏻

She passed away yesterday, aged only 64. Such is the way when you are a very self destructive person. I feel no sorrow, I feel only sheer relief.

Relief it wasn't drawn out for her, on a human level, despite her transgressions against me.

Relief she can no longer hurt me.

I'm literally finally at a point where I can build my life, I have the trauma in a good place. I am about to embark on an actual career helping kids who went through similar shit to me. I cannot afford for this to wriggle it's way into my life again after a decade of no contact. I won't let it.

So my mother is seriously unwell. Like, unlikely to live much longer kinda unwell. And I feel virtually nothing. I wish I did, but after 38 years of life, I cannot find it in me to feel like I owe her anything after a childhood/young adulthood of abuse. I don't need my parents shit back in my life.

..Safeguarding Disclosures, Cyberbullying, Bullying, Trafficking, Honour-Based Violence, Forced Marriage, Modern Slavery, Case Studies...to name a FEW.

It's so good to be learning again but this is heavy shit, especially as someone who suffered a good few of these abuses as a kid myself. 😅

Studying Safeguarding laws for under 18s for my new job and good god there's SO MUCH. I have written 80 odd pages of notes and I'm maybe halfway through. It's a ride that's involved Abuse of all forms including the very nasty ones, Organised Crime, Radicalism, FGM, Laws and Acts...

4 week notice is now handed in at the café. But really it's three because I'm on annual leave anyway for the first week of June! And since that's the first of my holiday entitlement I had all year, I think I'll be owed holiday pay in the final cheque too. So that could be a nice little bonus!

Sister is American. This we know. Marika for sure has an Eastern European accent in the chapter. And she is definitely Nihils sister. So my spitball theory now, is that by birth the twins are American. But by their fathers blood, perhaps Polish, or Romanian, or that general geographical ball park.

I have discovered...Marika is a name of polish origin meaning "bitter sea." I see what you did there Mr Ghost. Bitter Sea. Bitter C. Because C is bitter about V.

But also, the comics seem to hint Nihil and Marika are indeed Eastern European. I dont think the twins are therefore half Italian...
