Marginalized genders across the spectrum, rely on sex work!

In fact, the further marginalized, the more likely a MaGe is to depend on sex work for survival, under capitalism.

I recently did an audit and re-bundled to get more for my money and ad-free experience on my chosen platforms. Worth the time if you’re like me & had subscriptions scattered

The only thing I couldn’t figure out was how to carry my viewing history but if I can’t it still worth it in the long run.

Handmaid’s Tale series finale was a bit anticlimactic but I’ve been a bit over it the past 3 seasons. So do with that what you will. Glad I made it to the end but really glad it’s over πŸ˜‚

And the way this country has always exploited labor, stolen it, diminished it, has and will come back to bite. Chickens always come home to roost. Capitalism requires us to labor, but that labor often leaves nothing behind, and that might just be what brings about revolution.

The point, issues concerning labor will continue to matter. People can’t afford housing, food, or healthcare. We have issues in the present, and you can’t get to the present without going through the past. A few years ago you couldn’t throw a rock without hitting a labor union strike.

Labor Acknowledgment
"We must acknowledge that much of what we know of this country today, including its culture, economic growth, and development throughout history and across time, has been made possible by the labor of enslaved Africans and their ascendants who suffered the horror of the transatlantic trafficking of their people, chattel slavery, and Jim Crow. We are indebted to their labor and their sacrifice, and we must acknowledge the tremors of that violence throughout the generations and the resulting impact that can still be felt and

TJ, I don't know if you remember me from OSU, but I hope you are doing well. I live out in Seattle now and was at a community meeting this morning and saw your name up on someone's presentation β€” thought I'd share!

From Labor Acknowledgements to Labor Commitments Labor acknowledgments are similar and different from land acknowledgments. In this conversation, three scholar-practitioners discuss the purpose, history, practice, and complexities around labor ackno...

I knew when writing there would be criticisms. Acknowledgment doesn’t not address material conditions. But we can’t get to commitments until we get through acknowledgements. I already had that arrow in my quiver & got to be on a podcast to try & advance it

Another salient point was related to travel, conferences, and meetings and frankly hoe terrible visitors and guests tend to be when traveling. In any case this has been top of mind so that the BHM theme has focused here is exciting and affirming.

I’ve always been interested in labor issues, one of my HR degrees focused on Labor & Human Resources. In any case 4 years ago I wrote about engaging a praxis od recognizing labor historically and contemporarily.

I had been troubled for many years around how Black people and labor were rendered illegible, of course starting with Black women in β€œactivist” spaces and in communities of color with respect to the hyper visibility of Black Lives Matter.
