Someone is trans if they say they're trans and seek medical help to transition. The therapist is just a gatekeeper. You don't go to the therapist to find out if you're trans. You go to the therapist because our transphobic society makes you do that before you can medically transition

At some point you just have to recognise all these "they're transing the gay away" articles as a vice signalling performance where the purpose is for the writers to tell each other "we don't know shit about trans people and are actively refusing to learn"
