Teachers and administrators will only feel safe when they have a Superintendent they trust and Board members who don’t actively scheme against them. We have work to do.
We hate that the district is hemorrhaging money… but we warned you years ago. The goal is to bankrupt the district and turn it all into for profit charter schools.
We’re glad Tom Craik will finally get justice for being treated so poorly. He devoted his live to this district. He deserved better.

Esperanza HS staff just had a meeting where the principal informed them all classes next year will be on the main campus. West campus will be for Magnolia charter and potentially a second charter that has expressed interest in having space.

Was this Cherniss’ plan all along; to shift our public schools to district charters and then make them independent charters? Costing the taxpayers millions of dollars and then taking a hefty salary for himself…
