not the biggest fan of the new jacket record but love the honest man riff at the end of the record - which then prompted me to listen to at dawn, which truly is my favorite record ever i think at this point.

Love hearing the news we're FINALLY getting a full Hammer Head Shark record after their recent "Pisces Birthmark" show. Also loved seeing the photos of them and Homecomings. Though when I see photos of them together I imagine a HHS collab with Yuna. (please!!!!)

they always find a way to just live right between the intense and gorgeous - iai is a track i wish was just a tad longer with another dive into those loud guitars. i'm sure it's killer live.

new fallsheeps record is pretty good, bit more laid back than the last couple of releases but top qual musicianship. when im back in the states i gotta check what's on that demo cd - and if/how some of these songs evolved.

didnt listen to enough new albums last year to say anything about that. but it was a great year for live recordings - Rome, Drugs, TTF Terminal 5.

i didnt do a list or anything of stuff from last year but this was prob my favorite recording of music from last year in any form and probably for quite some time beyond that. encapsulates why this band is just stuck as my fav. the silliness of "happy birthday smoke detector" to the chaotic ending.
