As the only Democrat in this race who’s flipped a seat red to blue, I know what it will take to beat Darrell Issa, and this latest poll shows that we have the strongest campaign to do it. I will keep working hard so come November, we finally flip #CA48 and take back the People’s House.

Trump has power to command National Guard troops in Oregon, 9th Circuit rules The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the Trump administration after Oregon challenged the president's authority to deploy the National Guard.

The National Guard’s mission should be to keep Americans safe, not to score political points.

Sending California troops into Oregon is a dangerous escalation that distracts from the real work of building trust between communities and law enforcement.

It's divisive and wrong.
