On Friday, ICE kicked off a scheme to offer thousands of dollars to unaccompanied children as young as 14 in exchange for agreeing to be deported.

The government began to send out the memo to service providers Friday afternoon, directing children who accept to set up a meeting with ICE, where the kids must sign a voluntary removal document that waives their rights, in exchange for the cash payment.
