1. The US Transgender Survey has finally been released, and the results are stunning.
- <1% of people are less satisfied after HRT.

book reading has taken a rather large dive of a cliff for the next while, Raphael fanfic has got me deep
04.06.2025 07:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 027. Anyoneβs Ghost by August Thompson

Absolutely gorgeous queer coming of age that explores that very specific queer experience of desire - βdo I want them or do I want to be themβ
26. Vanishing World by Sayaka Murata
βοΈβοΈβοΈ
Sayaka Murata sure does know how to write a book that will leave you utterly speechless at the ending.
25. Sky Daddy by Kate Folk
βοΈβοΈ.5
The pitch is far more interesting than this book. The bit got old so fast.
24. The Will of the Many by James Islington
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ.5
Okay I get the hype over that ending. What a way to finish a book!!!
23. The Unworthy by Agustina Bazterrica
βοΈβοΈβοΈ
Unfortunately found this one pretty underwhelming! Am I over cult books?! But extra points for the glorious lesbian love story, who wouldnβt upend everything they know for a beautiful woman
22. Stinkbug by Sinead Stubbins
βοΈβοΈβοΈ.5
Very fun examination of modern corporate culture and it is truly hell that several moments of this literal *gothic* book have genuinely happened to me or people I know in corporate
21. Bat Eater by Kylie Lee Baker
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
This book deserves all the stars. One of the most harrowing and brutal books Iβve ever read. Absolutely exceptional horror.
20. Assassinβs Quest by Robin Hobb
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
Finally finished trilogy 1! Look this was obviously epic but my god only Robin Hobb could make me sit through those first 400 pages.
19. Those Beyond the Wall by Micaiah Johnson
βοΈβοΈβοΈ
A lot of mixed feelings on how this book interacts with the characters of book 1 (which is one of my favourite scifi books of all time).
Iβm not obsessed

One day I should probably examine how happy I am when health professionals give me praise (hello my psych calling me βa delightβ) but NOT TODAY
16, 17 & 18. The Captive Prince trilogy by C. S. Pacat

A colleague asked me where he should start with C.S. Pacat and explaining all of the options made me want to immediately reread one of my favourite series. So I did.
YIELD UNDER GREAT PERSUASION has been out for six months! If you are looking for a cozy, queer romantasy that will make you cry and hug your tired, bruised heart, this is the book for you!

Iβve never wanted to highlight a book more. Devastatingly astute in its rending of the West. Commentary on way language is weaponised by media + behaviour of arts orgs felt particularly relevant (hello Creative Australia).
14. The Lamb by Lucy Rose
βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
11/10. Incredible. Gut-wrenchingly good queer cannibalism novel about the ways mothers and daughters need and love and destroy each other. Had me sobbing in my bed at midnight when I finished.
