Honestly it boils down to my parents having very bad money management over the 20+ years I've been alive and banking on their kids being their retirement plans. I drew the straw of being the highest earner, so he's really sweating now that I'm leaving

Ok it went Fine, he was pissed as fuck but I preemptively had some random friends squatting in the apartment when we arrived so he had to be chill about it to save face because he's Asian™️. He was mostly trying to guilt trip and went on about how he needs to sell his house now(???)
