I have checked every drawer and shelf in my office, every junk drawer in the house, and nothing! This is why I don’t tidy.

Not saying it’s not possible. Just saying the source is known to be unreliable.

I mean, Lev Parnas is certainly not a reliable source, so it’s borderline irresponsible to even repost this without that confirmation tbh.

Or literally any news (that isn’t Fox). Like I’m not going to claim that the MSM has always gotten it right, but if you’re consuming *anything* these days that isn’t social media, you can’t miss it.

(I’m kidding, of course. I have always been able to take fun things and distort them into intensely serious endeavors, but the internet has certainly exacerbated that tendency.)

Man I remember when hobbies were just a fun thing to do.

We need to start cheering on organized efforts to change things more than we do one-off blips that will get smacked down so hard they might as well not have happened. Everyone loves drama, but what we need now is *work*.

I’m not here to say that words don’t do damage. They do. They were absolutely right to run him out of the classroom, no question. But an angry mob chasing him across campus and assaulting him does not make us look like freedom fighters. It makes us look like cowards.

Offering this up as someone who is not terminally online, but used to be.

The UW video does not make us look good. You cannot hear anything he said, and it just makes the crowd look like they support the suppression of free speech. They cheer on the pepper spraying of someone for words.
