Ross Montgomery’s The Murder at World’s End was a great read. A sharp, atmospheric mystery with really well developed characters that will genuinely keep you guessing. It’s smart, tense, wonderfully immersive and genuinely gripping.

The Book of Lost Hours, by Hayley Gelfuso: For a debut, this hit it out of several parks. Wonderfully complex characters, interesting use of time/space, and very effective reveals. Defo give it a go.

Rooted in Tlingit folklore, The Door on the Sea is a really well thought out, particularly designed and beautifully fresh piece of fantasy fiction. Very much worth your time, especially if you’re in the mood for something different.
