09.03.2025 20:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We'd normally avoid popular anchorages like this, but it's a nice change of scenery. Tomorrow, we'll take delivery of a new paddleboard to replace Shawn's inflatable that no longer holds air, then sail back to the quiet spot we've enjoyed for 6 weeks

27.01.2025 01:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This has been home for a a few weeks, and maybe a couple more. It'll be hard to leave
19.01.2025 20:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We donβt notice any of this motion while going about our day

30.11.2024 01:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Guna people of the San Blas islands undoubtedly got the idea for sailing from visiting yachts. Some even appear to be using scraps of old donated sails. Their canoes donβt have keels, so they canβt sail upwind, but they can sure cover a lot of miles with the wind behind them!

26.11.2024 01:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Some cool brain coral on the reef we're anchored near. I later learned that the fluffy red fractal things will react and close up when touched (but I'm not really into touching the reef)
26.11.2024 01:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Weβre going into our 3rd week of exploring the San Blas islands of Kuna Yala, PanamΓ‘. The weather is still a little unsettled as the rainy season winds down, but itβs good to be out here. The island pictured is one of cays of Coco Bandero.
