The second episode of Black Mirror depicts a society where people ride exercise bikes all day and earn credits for internet slop and live in austere barrack like conditions. This is the plan. Robots run society and the rest of us are kept around on hamster wheels for God knows what end.

I keep seeing people fawning over Starfleet Academy on this site. It’s objectively awful. I’ve never felt so gaslit. I adore Holly Hunter. Her barefoot lounging around captain is ridiculous.

It saddens me that I get these references.

I rolled into this show after watching Goliath. The Lincoln Lawyer plays an absolutely psychotic cartel guy in that show.

Have to admit, I did watch every Celebrity Apprentice season. But even then it was pretty apparent he was pretty damn racist and misogynistic.

I’ve thought about this. The problem is over time you are going to misjudge how far the demon travelled and over the course of your lifetime the demon will end up closer and closer to one of the coasts until one day it gets you.

I posted Carnivale too. As I posted, I think if it had come out post-Lost it would have been better received. The world wasn’t ready for that level of a mystical “mystery box” show at the time.

Carrie Coon’s monologue in the finale was one of the best scenes ever to tie up a show. Really need to rewatch the whole run.

I just rewatched this recently. Great show that might have been just a couple years too early before Lost ushered in the “mystery box”-era.

Wow, just saw Sam Neill is ALSO in this as a Russian. Funny how the brain squirrels dumb stuff away.

Wow, haven’t thought of this show since it came out. I remember the upside down flag. I’m picturing Sam Neill as the lead but looking it up I see it was Robert Urich.

I was obsessed listening to Prodigy for a while (that album that had that Firestarter song). I honestly couldn’t tell you if they had any other albums after that.
