Wherever he goes, he wants to leave: SA, Canada, ultimately the U.S. in the long run, based on his behavior. This also includes Earth. A continuous disavowal of your home is odd, to say the least. He seems to have no c...

So curious that such a wealthy man never posts anything that indicates that he enjoys or is even aware of what virtually everyone appreciates - scenes from nature, pet dog or cat, praise for a movie, music, a book (but doubt that he reads); condolences for someone who has died; pleasure in sports, acclaim for a favorite team; references to history. In fact he seems totally uneducated, uncultured. The poorest persons on Twitter may have access to more beauty & meaning in life than the "most wealthy person the world."
Hey, yo. Joyce Carol Oates is dragging tech boys by their hair over on that weirdo app.

The Creative Essence of Zohran Mamdani's Ascent
The sentiments that drove his inspiring campaign should be familiar to any artistic soul.
The promise of change drives creativity everywhere. It’s no surprise that most neighborhoods where artists and the creative community live in New York City voted overwhelmingly for Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.

remember all those hot takes during the primary about how Mamdani was the candidate for rich white liberals? a "champagne socialist" ?
yeah, about that

Zohran Mamdani's win is "an incredible proof of concept of how to fight fascism," says @naomiaklein.bsky.social.
"Fascists want everybody to be the same. They celebrate conformity, uniformity, sameness, hierarchy. … The entire [Mamdani] campaign was a love letter to the diversity."

Lots of great things about it, but Mamdani’s victory is also an encouraging win over the evil AI hate slop that Cuomo was tossing at the virtual wall at the end there. Deepfakes are dangerous but they are also a sign of despotic desperation.

I think this is the best part of this win.
It shows no amount of money beats a thoughtful political platform communicated effectively to the people for once.
It shows *people have the power*

Exit polls are showing that 75% of young New Yorkers 18-29 voted for Zohran today. SEVENTY FIVE PERCENT.
Our generation is clear: we're done with corrupt politicians who take orders from their billionaire donors. We demand a livable and affordable future.

Mayor Mamdani. A photo of Zohran smiling. Zohran wins
26 billionaires spent over $22 million to beat Zohran Mamdani.
Why? Because regular people came together around an agenda that prioritized making life easier for more people. It beat big money.
That is how we win.

When we launched this campaign, we said we wanted to knock on one million doors across the five boroughs by the June primary.
Some people laughed. You got to work. We hit 1.6 million.
In the general, we said let's do it again. Another million.
We just passed three.

The way these lex-luthors-wannabe have been endorsing Cuomo at the last minute and being total racists with Mamdami expressing themselves like 10 yo is an example of how losers they are

World must fight Israel’s genocide in Gaza like it did apartheid, pioneering South African judge says
The longest-serving high commissioner for human rights in UN history, Navi Pillay recognises the life of a pioneer is often lonely and isolated
“The international community cannot stay silent on the genocidal campaign launched by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza,” (...) “When clear signs and evidence of genocide emerge, the absence of action to stop it amounts to complicity.”
