💻 In the paper, they describe a new way to automatically calibrate a computer model of the #Curonian Lagoon's ecosystem.

🪶Spitsbergen is a breeding ground for many species of seabirds, and home to many iconic species such as polar bears, #Arctic foxes, and Svalbard reindeer.

🔬Marine Research Institute of the #KlaipedaUniversity is involved in several tasks of MARBEFES, including calibrating and testing numerical models to better understand biogeochemical/lower trophic level processes🐚

🇱🇹 #LithuanianCoast BBT is part of the coastal system of the South-East Baltic Sea.

📸Highlights: #CuronianSpit, a sand-dune spit recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and #CuronianLagoon, one of the largest lagoons in Europe.
