I am still pretty early on in the game. Just beat Milo!

Also I will say it was honestly kinda messed up for the pokemon fandom to baby a pompous asshole like Bede, but treat Hop as a villain for basically no reason when this game came out.

He honestly was the blueprint for how they'd go on to treat Nemona as well. And I happen to love both her and Hop.

Personally I think this game being the one that discontinued the inclusion of every Pokémon was what made it controversial, and maybe that could have been handled better than the "high quality animations" line. But as a game, there's honestly nothing wrong with sword/shield that I can see.

I have just started pokemon sword after having missed it when it came out, and honestly? It's completely inoffensive. Like, it's a pretty standard pokemon switch title and I'm enjoying it thus far.

Also, Yamper, Scorbunny, and Corviknight are awesome additions to the series.
