Went to the beach today, and amongst other things, I found this bit of dark amber. I think the inclusion might be vegetation, though I was hoping for a bug.

Three hour walk on the beach earlier today. Found some great treasures! My 3rd ever marble, green cats eye!
Also found some amber with inclusion, working on polishing it up to hopefully see what's inside!
Potatoes are a major food group for me. This sounds delightfully delicious!

A balmy 28 degrees and overcast. The pier was frozen with sea spray. I brought the wrong gloves, so it was a very short walk. Worth a little arthritis pain.
Us on the other end of Canada feel the same! Please!

I'm a big fan of one pan meals, I hate trying to time things to be hot and cleaning a giant mess.
Quesadillas are one of my comforts. Made a chicken one a few days ago using rotisserie chicken, delish! Made another tonight but with bacon and peas, equally delish.
One pan, one burner, no mess.
I love walking on the beaches, soaking up the sun, taking in the scenery, and looking for treasures. I feel better after an hour or two of being on the beach.
