Continued my social experiment to connect with strangers by playing Rock, Paper, Scissors. I walked around and challenged strangers to a game. Sometimes they won, sometimes I did. It really didn’t matter who won, they smiled. Every single one of them. Making connections matters.

The backbone to any special needs classroom are the paras and AAs. They sit with, calm, redirect, and help students with special needs grow while the teacher teaches. The main teacher plans the lesson: math, etc. But the para/AA makes the magic happen. It takes a village to foster growth.
