• Helped 52 million children and youth learn by strengthening education programs and systems in 45 countries, provided teachers and students with nearly 150 million textbooks and other learning materials, and built or repaired 11,000 classrooms, from 2011 to 2015.

• Contributed to creating business environments for U.S. goods: 11 of America’s top 15 trading partners were once recipients of U.S. aid, and some of the fastest-growing markets are former aid recipients.

• Health: USAID has helped save millions of lives through health services, vaccinations, and nutrition programs. USAID also helped eradicate smallpox, the first disease to be globally eradicated.

• Oral rehydration therapy: USAID helped save millions of lives with oral rehydration therapy, a simple intervention that costs only pennies per packet to produce.

He’s at the highest % FRL high school in our area, by choice, we love it. Also means he can get free bfast too. He gets up at 5:20 for 5:40 bus, sleeps more on bus, eats at school. Everyone wins.

School meals 4all, let’s chat. Hungry kids can’t learn, stressed parents are not as involved. Feed. The. Effing. Kids. My oldest attends a low wealth school where all get free meals, the stigma is reduced and mental load lifted for me. Staffing is biggest expense, they are there anyways! #nced
