The books were written to teach children about self-respect, friendship, courage, honesty, empathy and overcoming fears.

I don't see it going the way he hopes. While a lot of Canadians will definitely be watching, it's a splintered fan base. Canada's team will have it's fans but people will cheer for the teams/countries they have always cheered for. The Blue Jays have always been known as Canada's team in baseball.

I'm surprised at some that are lower than us (Canada). Some of the Scandinavian countries have free post secondary education, yet many don't seem to take advantage of it.
